Biography

Associate Professor and senior lecturer, Head of the interdisciplinary research unit on Information Systems and Computer Engineering at the Faculty of Engineering and Technology, International School, VNU Hanoi. He holds a BSc in Information Technology from RMIT University and a PhD in Information Technology and Telecommunications from Monash University, Australia. He leads the VNU Strong Research Group on artificial intelligence in healthcare (Decision 78/QĐ-ĐHQGHN, 2023) and has published in Expert Systems with Applications, Multimedia Tools and Applications, Concurrency and Computation, and Mobile Networks and Applications. Within BIRALAB he coordinates scientific activity and leads IoT/Edge AI system architecture and large-scale health data.

Research interests

AI in healthcare; IoT and edge/cloud-fog computing; wireless sensor networks; large-scale health databases; medical image processing.
