These terms apply to all content on biralab.org, including text, images, datasets and source code released through the Data Hub.
Content licence
Scientific content created by BIRALAB is licensed under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 (CC BY 4.0) unless stated otherwise: you may copy, adapt and use it commercially provided you give full attribution. Individual datasets and tools may carry their own licence, stated on the relevant page.
Citation
When you use a BIRALAB dataset or tool in a scientific publication, please cite it using the recommended citation given on that dataset's page. This is a condition of use, not a courtesy request.
Trade marks
The BIRALAB name and logo are not covered by the open licence above. Do not use them in a way that suggests BIRALAB sponsors, endorses or is affiliated with your product or service without written consent.
Limitation of liability
Content on this website is provided for scientific information. Research results are not medical advice, are not legally binding test conclusions, and do not replace reference analytical methods or the opinion of a competent authority.
External links
The website links to the host institution, partners, journals and external data platforms. BIRALAB is not responsible for the content of those sites.
