BIRALAB

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 28 July 2026

Principle

biralab.org collects the minimum personal data needed to answer your enquiry. We do not sell, rent or share personal data for advertising purposes.

Data we collect

When you submit the contact form we store your name, email address, organisation (if provided), the message body, the interface language and the purpose of the enquiry. IP addresses are not stored in raw form: we retain only a salted hash to prevent bulk submissions.

Cookies and analytics

The website uses no tracking cookies and no advertising cookies. Traffic statistics are collected in aggregate, without personal identification, using privacy-respecting analytics.

Retention

Enquiry content is retained for at most 24 months after the exchange concludes, for the purpose of tracking collaborations. It is deleted after that period.

Health data

This web infrastructure has no pathway for patient data and stores no clinical data whatsoever. Research on human data is conducted on separate infrastructure with ethics committee approval. All datasets published in the Data Hub are anonymised.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal data we hold about you. Send your request to admin@biralab.org; we respond within 30 days.

Third parties

The website runs on Vercel, data is stored in Supabase, static files on Cloudflare R2, and transactional email is sent through Resend. These providers process data only on our instructions.
