BIRALAB publishes its financial management principles and the register of annual reports. International science funders require this at the due diligence stage.
Financial management principles
All funding is received through the International School, VNU Hanoi — never through a member's personal account.
All income is reinvested in research, technology development, training and community service activities.
No profit is distributed to members in any form.
Periodic financial reporting follows VNU Hanoi regulations and is verified by the host institution.
Where funding goes
- Measurement instruments and consumables for spectroscopic experiments
- Scholarships and research allowances for doctoral candidates, master's students and research assistants
- Open-access publication charges and international conference attendance
- Building and maintaining open datasets, open-source tools and the Data Hub infrastructure
- Network workshops and transfer training for provincial laboratories
Annual reports
BIRALAB was recognised in 2026. The first annual report will be published here once the first financial year closes and the host institution has approved it.
Requesting financial information
Funders and due-diligence reviewers who need copies of supporting documents, detailed statements or confirmation from the host institution may submit a request through the contact form under the purpose “Funding and foundation partnership”.
