Biography

Associate Professor of Information Technology and Vice Director of the Information Technology Institute, VNU Hanoi. He received his PhD in Mathematics and Informatics in 2013 from the VNU University of Science in cooperation with Politecnico di Milano, Italy. He serves as Associate Editor of several SCIE journals including the Journal of Intelligent & Fuzzy Systems, IEEE Access and Data Technologies and Applications, and sits on the editorial boards of Applied Soft Computing and PLOS One. He has led or participated in more than twenty international, national, NAFOSTED and VNU-level research projects. Within BIRALAB he leads AI/XAI algorithms, soft computing and spectral data analysis systems.

Research interests

Artificial intelligence; data mining; soft computing and fuzzy computing; recommender systems; geographic information systems.
