Biography

Lecturer at the Faculty of Engineering and Technology, International School, VNU Hanoi, where she leads the research group on “Applications of artificial intelligence in health and biomedical electronics”. She holds a BEng in Electronics and Telecommunications from Hanoi University of Science and Technology and MSc and PhD degrees in Electrical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Lowell, USA. Her published work covers ensemble learning for ADHD detection from non-linear EEG features, lung sound classification using wavelet sub-band reconstruction, automatic lung segmentation in thoracic CT, sleep apnea and arrhythmia detection from ECG, and state-space modelling for ripple reduction in AC-DC converters. She teaches Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Probability and Mathematical Statistics, and Business Analytics. Within BIRALAB she leads biomedical machine learning, signal processing and sensor hardware design.

Research interests

Applied machine learning in biomedicine and business; EEG, ECG, lung sound and CT image processing; electronic circuit and sensor design.
